I don’t make any bones about it that this website is geared more towards those who are brand new to the advantage slot player life. I’ve come up with three tips on how to conduct yourself when you start hustling in the casinos to help ensure you don’t rub folks the wrong way.
- You are not the only person in the casino who has this figured out.
This is something I see frequently from brand new hustlers. Wide-eyed, they’ve discovered this awesome way to make money & to actually beat the house on a regular basis. They’re super eager to take on any available play by watching these machines like a hawk & rush the machine when someone leaves a good, juicy play. Sometimes jumping in front of someone who was already waiting.
They get tunnel vision & have a total lack of awareness that there are others in the casino who know too. This can lead to tension right off the bat for the new hustler & possibly a confrontation. My lesson to you is to be aware of your surroundings for other advantage players in the area who are may already be waiting on a machine which leads me to…
- Keep it moving
You see that another hustler is already waiting on a machine. The hustler may now already be on the machine you were interested in. You didn’t get this opportunity so go find another one. There is no point in sticking around. No one likes a nosy neighbor.
- Unnecessary Camping
You often have to sit on nearby machines when waiting on an advantage opportunity. You’ll find out quickly that slot hustling involves a lot of waiting. But do not camp an advantage machine when a) no one is playing it & b) there is no advantage. The other hustlers will think you’re greedy who wants all the action on that machine for themselves, an idiot or both. You could be missing plays elsewhere in the casino.
I’d say unscientifically that 95% of issues between hustlers is because someone violated one of these three tips. Stick to them & you should run into few problems.
