We have another clone alert. This one is called “Diamond Mania” & it’s a carbon copy of IGT’s Scarab which has the “Wild stays, charges and pays” feature. The diamonds play the role of the scarabs here & lock into place before turning into wild symbols on every tenth spin.

The strategy to “beat” or advantage play Scarab is one of those that I still get questions about. I suppose I was vague about it because the wilds are scattered about on the screen & there are a near infinite amount of possibilities. Spotting an advantage play opportunity has typically been a situation of you know it when you see it.

However one strategy that another advantage player uses that I currently subscribe to is to play Scarab/Diamond Mania when you are guaranteed to have a three of a kind win & you’re on spin 8+ & to play any guaranteed four of a kind win regardless of how many spins remain to activate the wilds. So for those of you confused about how to go about advantage playing Scarab & now Diamond Mania, hopefully that simplifies things a bit.
