Remember that the prize disk on the base game can only land on reels 1, 3 or 5. Also, all values shift one spot to the left when you hit spin. Therefore you can only win the free games if the symbol is sitting on reels 2 or 4 before the game is spun. Keep in mind that the prize disk doesn’t show often to begin with so a spin is not very likely to result in a bonus. The base game is absolutely awful in my opinion & most spins will result in a loss or a small win around the amount of your bet. However the free games has the potential for wins in the 50-200x your bet range.

Another good thing is that you’ll never be in a position to chase & potentially lose big money like you may on other plays. Most of your playable situations will be a single spin.
