Here’s another older machine that’s still in existence. It’s a classic, 3-reel slot machine called Diamonds & Devils by Bally. The signage on the machine shows that getting three scattered diamond or devil symbols on a three credit bet will award the player 10 “bonus” games that pay 3x. Notice it does not call them “free” games. In the fine print it’s stated that “players must bet 3 credits to play bonus games.” That doesn’t mean three credits to activate the bonus. It means each bonus spin costs $3. Because they are paid bonus games a slot hustler is counting on a player running out of money or as is the case with many advantage play machines, not knowing how the machine works.
How do I advantage play & “beat” Diamonds & Devils?
Advantage playing Diamonds & Devils is very simple. Get on any unattended machine if you see any number other than “00” displayed on it. Play off any leftover bonus games & get off the machine.
Finding plays on Diamonds & Devils are rare & it may be a bit off-putting to have to pay for “bonus” games but it’s still worth it to walk by them on your way to the other advantage machines. Also take note that there are other variants of Diamonds & Devils that do not provide an edge to slot hustlers. One in particular is an updated version which shares the same name & plays exactly the same except that it truly has free games which will play themselves off.
